New Addition to Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee


FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME, SHARYN ABELSON IS THE NEWEST MEMBER OF OUR VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY BASEBALL COMMITTEE

Toronto Playgrounds Baseball is proud to announce the addition of a new member to our distinguished and hard working volunteer baseball committee.

As a passionate baseball fan and mom at the House League level for several seasons, Sharyn Abelson stepped up to the plate and joined the committee at a meeting held on Tuesday evening at the Bob Abate Community and Recreation Centre.

We cordially welcome Sharyn to the committee and look forward to her participation and contributions to our community baseball operations.

With this latest addition, the number of people on the TP Baseball Committee increases to twelve members. Here is a listing of the committee members for the 2020 season:

Along with TP Baseball Co-ordinator Steve Smith, the TP Baseball Committee consists of a dedicated group of people from within the community who volunteer their time (with no financial remuneration) to work behind the scenes all year long to make the wonderful baseball program that we offer at Christie Pits possible at the House League, Select and Rep levels.

As a committee, we are always striving to improve the baseball experience on the diamond and work with the community that surrounds us. We are interested in your concerns, suggestions and questions regarding our baseball programs.
