The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association (TPBA) will be holding their Annual General Membership Meeting and Awards Presentation for Baseball Excellence on Wednesday, March 1.
For the first time since 2019, the TPBA will be holding an in person Annual General Membership Meeting and Awards Presentation for Baseball Excellence in the gymnasium at Montrose Junior Public School (301 Montrose Avenue) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
UPDATE: Wednesday’s AGM will be an IN PERSON AFFAIR ONLY. There will be no ZOOM option available. The reference to a Zoom option for the AGM was an error and the TPBA Board of Directors apologizes for any resulting confusion.

ADVISORY: “People considered “members” for the purposes of voting on items at the 2022 Annual General Members meeting are parents, players 18 years of age, and coaches from the 2022 TPBA House League, Rep and Select seasons. Parents who have registered players for 2023, who were not registered in 2022, can attend the meeting but will not be able to vote on items.”
The TPBA Board of Directors presents awards annually to people who embody the spirit and principles of our Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball program. It gives recognition to Players, Coaches, Umpires and Parents who go beyond the call of duty and volunteer their precious energy and time to make our baseball program the wonderful experience that it is.
2022 and 2019 Awards in the categories of female participant; male participant and volunteer of the year will be presented during the proceedings.
The general membership meeting will also allow new and old members of the TPBA Baseball Family to hear an update on the state of operations in the TPBA Program as we approach Opening Day of the 2023 season. The proceedings will also allow anyone in attendance to ask questions to the members of the TPBA Board of Directors and receive answers to their concerns.
In addition, there will be also be a slide show presentation featuring many memorable photographs taken during the 2022 season.
Light refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. for in person attendees at the annual general membership meeting and awards ceremony.
