REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE AUTUMN EDITION OF OUR INDOOR BASEBALL SKILLS AND DRILLS CLASSES AT GIVINS-SHAW PUBLIC SCHOOL FOR PARTICPANTS AGES 7 TO 12

The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association (TPBA) is accepting online registrations for its Fall 2023 Baseball Academy.

The TPBA Baseball Academy features ninety-minute weekly indoor skills and drills classes taking place in a TDSB gym. Each week’s class will focus on specific baseball skills and activities, and will be led by trained TP Instructors/Field Supervisors.

This is a great way for players to get ready for our up-coming outdoor house league season: participants will be able to enjoy even more baseball while enhancing their skills and building increased self-confidence in their baseball abilities.

There is a class for ages 7 to 9 years and a class for ages 10 to 12 years.

Location:

  • Givins-Shaw Public School double gym – 49 Givins Street – 1 block east of Ossington Ave., 3 blocks south of Dundas Street/2 blocks north of Queen Street. Just west of Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Days:

  • Mondays or Thursdays (participants sign up for one day or the other)

Times:

  • 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. (for 7 to 9 years olds)
  • 7:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. (for 10 to 12 year olds).

Format:

  • 6 weeks of 90-minute classes for each group

Registration fee:

  • $150.00/six-week session

Schedule:

  • Monday Fall Baseball Academy Sessions: November 6; 13; 20; 27; December 4; 11.
  • Thursday Fall Baseball Academy Sessions: November 9; 16; 23; 30; December 7 and 14.

If you do not already have a TeamSnap account, then you will be able to first create one and you will then be able to complete the form. If you are setting up an account, make sure that it is a parent’s name that is entered as the account holder, not the child’s name.
