EVERYONE IN OUR TPBA FAMILY IS WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FUN SOIREE AS WE ANNOUNCE THE 2023 AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE AT OUR ANNUAL MEETING AT THE BOB ABATE COMMUNITY CENTRE

The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association (TPBA) will be holding their 2023 Annual General Members Meeting and Awards Presentation for Baseball Excellence on Wednesday, March 27.

Our TPBA AGM meeting will take place in the gym at Bob Abate Community Centre (485 Montrose Avenue) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The agenda for the 2023 AGM meeting will be posted on the TPBA website (www.tpbaseball.ca) and circulated by email, and on Instagram by Friday, March 22.

ADVISORY: “People considered “members” for the purposes of voting on items at the 2023 Annual General Members meeting are parents, players 18 years of age, and coaches from the 2023 TPBA House League, Rep and Select seasons. Parents who have registered players for 2024, who were not registered in 2023, can attend the meeting, but will not be able to vote on items.”

The general members meeting will allow new and old members of the TPBA Baseball Family to hear an update on the state of operations in the TPBA Program as we approach Opening Day of the 2024 season. The proceedings will also allow anyone in attendance to ask questions to the members of the TPBA Board of Directors and receive answers to their concerns.

In addition, the TPBA will also be presenting its annual awards to people who embody the spirit and principles of our Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association House League Baseball program. It gives deserving recognition to players, coaches, umpires and parents who go beyond the call of duty and volunteer their precious energy and time to make our baseball program the wonderful experience that it is.

Light refreshments and snacks will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. for in person attendees at the annual general members meeting and awards ceremony.
