TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS TAME THE RIVERDOGS AT SMYTHE PARK TO WIN THEIR SIXTH EBA SELECT GAME

Beneath a layer of cool and genteel summer skies, our Toronto Playgrounds Rookie Ball Selects defeated the York Riverdogs 9-5 in six innings of Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA) Select action this evening at Smythe Park to win their sixth game of the season and remain undefeated.
After the Canada Day long weekend, the TP Rookie Ball Selects will have a much deserved bye week away from the EBA Select circuit next week. TP will resume play at the Lloyd McConnie Memorial Tournament on July 9 and 10 at Etobicoke Valley Park.
The TP Rookie Ball Selects [6-0-1] will play their next EBA Select game on Tuesday, July 12 when they travel to Pelmo Park to face the Weston Wolverines at 6:30 p.m.
