TP BASEBALL COMMITTEE RELEASES REVISED SCHEDULES FOR MONDAY, JULY 12; TUESDAY, JULY 13 AND THURSDAY, JULY 15; ADDITIONAL SCHEDULING REVISIONS TO BE POSTED AS THEY ARE FINALIZED
Staff for the City of Toronto Parks Department has informed the TP Baseball Committee that the digging up of the outfield areas around Diamond # 3 to repair a broken pipe is likely to begin on the morning of Monday, July 12.
Although this scenario hasn’t been officially confirmed by city bureaucrats, the TP Baseball Committee feels that it’s in the best interests of everyone that we proceed with a revised schedule based upon the assumption that the pipe repair work will commence on Monday. Please note that this revised schedule will be followed even if the digging up of Diamond # 3 to repair the pipe doesn’t start on Monday.
In terms of the Rookie Ball Division program, the following revised schedule will be in place for Monday, July 12:
Game 1 5:45 pm Bickford South Panthers at Cheetahs (as previously scheduled)
Game 2 5:45 pm Christie Pits # 2 Lions at Bobcats (switched diamond)
Game 3 7:00 pm Bickford South Jaguars at Tigers (switched park)
In terms of the Peewee Division program, the following revised schedule will be in place for Tuesday, July 13:
Game 1 6:00 pm Christie Pits # 2 Jays at Red Sox
Game 2 8:00 pm Christie Pits # 2 Lizzies at Yankees
Please note that Peewee Division practices will take place as indicated on the schedule on Thursday July 15th.
In terms of the Mosquito Division program, the following revised schedule will be in place for Monday, July 12 and Thursday, July 15. Please note that there are major revisions:
Monday, July 12
Game 1 7:00 pm Christie Pits # 2 Lizzies at Pirates
Thursday, July 15
Game 2 6:00 pm Christie Pits # 2 Cubs at Dodgers

Since the pipe repair project is projected to take two to three weeks to complete, all TP Baseball players and parents are strongly advised to check this website or the TP Hotline for updates and additional revised schedule postings as they become available.
The TP Baseball Committee thanks everyone for their patience and understanding in this matter.
