DAY SIX: Only 16 games left in the 2010 TP Tournament

‘SEPTEMBER MADNESS’ CONTINUES TODAY WITH TWELVE MORE GAMES (WEATHER PERMITTING…OF COURSE)

Cubs and Pirates enjoying "September Madness".

It’s been a frenetic weekend for the 2010 TP Tournament. Within a five day span, we’ve managed to play 29 tournament games across four different divisions.  And we still have 16 more games left to played within the next five days (weather permitting).

We’ve continue the weekend phase of the TP Tournament with 12 more tournament games scheduled for Sunday (September 12). They don’t call it ‘September Madness’ for nothing!

On days of uncertain weather, please remember to check the TP Weather Hotline at (416) 392-1914 (Press ‘4’) to see if your game will proceed as scheduled or be postponed.  Please note that if some tournament games scheduled on a specific day are rained out, the schedule will continue as printed and the rained out games will be added into the schedule later in the tournament.

As we are in the weekend portion of the tournament, players, parents and fans can also check out the standings, scores and other important information at our TP Tournament Bulletin Board located behind Diamond # 2.

Updated scores, standings, pictures and other news will be posted at the conclusion of play every night on the Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball website  at www.torontoplaygrounds.ca  throughout the tournament.

There are only 16 more games to go in the 2010 TP baseball season. We hope to see you down at the diamonds at Christie Pits to partake in the rollercoaster ride that is ‘September Madness’.
