DAY TEN UPDATE: Rain Postpones Today’s Mosquito Championship Game

TP BASEBALL COMMITTEE RESCHEDULES MOSQUITO CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL TO SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 AT 9:00 A.M. ON DIAMOND # 2

UPDATED AT  3:45 P.M.

Rainstorms have caused the postponement of tonight’s Mosquito Championship Game between the Cardinals and Cubs. The steady precipitation throughout the day has made the baseball diamonds at Christie Pits unplayable.

The TP Baseball Committee has been forced to cancel the original proposed date for the rescheduled Mosquito final (Friday, September 17) due to concerns that some coaches from the Cardinals and Cubs would not be available for the game tomorrow evening.

The TP Committee has now confirmed the rescheduling of the TP Mosquito Championship Game to Saturday, September 18 at 9 a.m. on Diamond # 2.

In case of  inclement weather, Parents and Players are strongly encouraged to check back on this website or our TP Weather Hotline at (416) 392-1914 [Press ‘4’] for updates on the status of their scheduled game.
