Between The Lines (#3) WANTED: Eager Volunteers To Assist In Bickford Equipment Room Cleanup Day

(This posting of “Between The Lines” is the third in a series of information bulletins that will appear regularly throughout the 2011 TP Baseball Season.)

With only 83 days left before Opening Day of another TP Baseball Season, the TP Baseball Committee is organizing a cleanup day on Sunday, March 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the equipment room in Bickford Park.

The committee is inviting any players who are interested in getting some volunteer hours towards their high school community service requirement to join us. We will give you credit for any hours that you can contribute to the cleanup effort. (Please note that you don’t have to be there for the entire three hours.)

Parents and other volunteers who have some spare time and who wish to help out with the cleanup are also welcome.

The equipment room at the Bickford Centre is located at the bottom of the stairs that lead from the parking lot behind the Bob Abate Centre down into Bickford Park (at the north end of Bickford Park beside the Breezeway, which is the courtyard area often filled with skateboarders).

Players and parents who are planning to come out and help are kindly asked to email us at tpbaseball@gmail.com to acknowledge their participation so that we will know how many people to expect.

The TP Baseball Committee wishes to thank you for your assistance in our spring training cleanup efforts as we prepare for the 2011 season. See you there!
