In the second game of a Tee Ball Division doubleheader at the Bickford North diamond, the Falcons and Owls unfurled their wings for a tsunami of a game this evening.
Before an enthusiastic gathering of family and friends, the two ornithological division rivals took flight and lit up the scoreboard with hits and runs galore.
Both teams flew over the basepaths with joyous abandon and unbridled enthusiasm. The offensive fireworks displayed by the teams brought the standing room only crowd to their feet in celebration.
When the clouds of dust had finally settled on the basepaths, the official scorekeeper announced that the Falcons and Owls had played to a well deserved draw.
And a wonderful time was had by all in attendance.
