CUBBIES STAGE FOUR RUN COMEBACK IN THE BOTTOM OF THE FOURTH INNING TO KNOCK OFF THE GIANTS

Under humid skies at Christie Pits Diamond 2 this evening, the Cubs rallied for four runs in their last at bats to usurp the Giants 9-8 in a thrilling four inning Mosquito Division showdown.
Trailing 8-5, the Cubs answered the clarion comeback call in the bottom of the fourth and stormed back with a vengeance to score two to cut the deficit to one.
With the bases loaded, Jake (14) of Cubs took one for the team when he was hit by a pitch, which allowed the tying run to come home from third.
With the bases still loaded, Max (7) of the Cubs exercised composed discipline at the plate and drew a walk to bring Joshua (10) homeward bound from third with the winning run.

- Cubs pitcher Max (7) pitched a perfect second inning when he struck out all three batters that he faced.
- Griff (3) of the Cubs had three walks and scored three runs.
- Cubs starting pitcher Joshua (10) tossed a solid first inning by allowing only one Giants run. Joshua also scored the winning run of the game for the Cubbies.
- Emma (8) of the Giants cooly stole home to score a run.
- Christian (4) stroked an electrifying double down the third baseline.
- Giants pitchers Maxwell (7) and John Lee (5) put in stellar pitching efforts on the mound.
