‘September Madness’ Is On The Horizon!

ALL PLAYERS AND PARENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THE SCHEDULE AND RULES IN PREPARATION FOR THE 2012 TP HOUSE LEAGUE BASEBALL TOURNAMENT

The Cardinals convene for a pregame meeting with Head Coach Garry Bulloch at Bickford Park.

A MESSAGE FOR ALL PLAYERS, PARENTS AND COACHES:

With the start of our 2012 TP House League Baseball Tournament (a.k.a. ‘September Madness’) slated to begin tomorrow, I’m taking this opportunity to request that all players, parents and coaches take the time to review the schedules, rules package, and information letter again, in case some of you haven’t had the chance to read them yet.

2012 TP Baseball Tournament Information Letter

Players and Parents are encouraged take the time to read all the information and seek clarification from your coaches or tournament conveners if you have any questions.

Players are strongly encouraged to arrive at the park as close to half-an-hour before game time as possible.

It’s very important, both because of darkness falling earlier at Christie Pits Diamond 3 (where there are no lights), and back-to-back games on school nights, that we begin all of the games at the time indicated on the schedule.

If players can arrive in good time, then the coaches can get the players warmed up and their lineups organized and we’ll be able to start the games on time.

With 49 games scheduled to be played within ten days (weather permitting), we welcome you to the rollercoaster ride known as ‘September Madness’.

Thanks,

Steve Smith
