Beneath the lights on the first day off summer at Dominico Field at Christie Pits, the Bloordale Bombers defeated our TP Bantam Selects 22-0 in four innings of EBA West Select Loop action.
The Bombers led from the get go as they pounded out thirteen hits and took advantage of twelve walks to cruise to an easy victory over Toronto Playgrounds
Bloordale starting pitcher Subhann (1) and closer A.P. (24) combined to silence the TP batting order by allowing no runs, one hit, one walk while striking out four during the proceedings.
On Thursday evening, the Royal York Cardinals topped out Bantam Selects 11-2 in 4 ½ innings of play at the Queensway.
The Bantam Selects (1-6) will take a break from the EBA Select circuit and play in the Vaughan Tournament (July 5-6).
