Beneath wonderful summer skies this evening at Christie Pits Diamond 3, two historic rivals hooked up in a Rookie Ball Monday Division battle royale.
The Bobcats and Lions scratched and clawed ferociously for three sizzling innings to determine which team would reign supreme on the field of play.
Sparking the Bobcats offensive charge were Finn (8), Jordan (1), Jude (5) and Tyler (9).
Spearheading the Lions offense were Dajuan (6), Joaquin (13), Justin (16) and Otis (1).
The hits and runs generated by both teams were coming fast and furious throughout the entire game and brought the fans in attendance to their feet in joyous celebration.
And when the dust had finally settled on the basepaths, TP Umpire Joel Scott announced that the Bobcats and Lions had played to a draw.
A fitting conclusion to a well played game by both squads and where a wonderful time was had by all.
