Under the lights on a quaint evening at Dominico Field at Christie Pits, the Monarchs defeated the Crawfords 14-10 in six innings to take a 2-0 lead in their best of seven Midget Division Championship Series.

- Alex (12) of the Monarchs pitched a great bottom of the sixth to seal the deal. Alex reached base in all five of his plate appearances.
- Sam (9) pitched two strong innings and scored four runs for the Monarchs.
