Under pleasant September skies this evening at Christie Pits Diamond 3, the Dodgers defeated the Giants 8-3 in 4 ½ innings of Mosquito Division Quarter-Final action.
In a well played affair between two talented and well coached teams, the Artful Dodgers eventually prevailed over the Mighty Giants using a combination of strong pitching and clutch hitting.
With the victory, the Dodgers advance to the Mosquito Division Semi-Final round on Wednesday, September 11 at Christie Pits Diamond 3 against an opponent still to be determined.
