THE TP BASEBALL COMMITTEE IS IN THE FINAL STAGE OF FINALIZING ITS FEES FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON AT CHRISTIE PITS AND BICKFORD PARK; REGISTRATION FOR OUR HOUSE LEAGUE BASEBALL PROGRAMS SET TO BEGIN IN EARLY JANUARY

With only a meagre 147 days left before opening day of the 2014 edition of the Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Season, the TP Baseball Committee would like to alert all interested parents and players that registrations for the upcoming season will begin in early January.
After a thorough forensic audit of its financial ledgers, the Committee is in the final stage of setting its registration fees for the 2014 season.
Due to an increase in user fees by the City of Toronto for the use of the baseball diamonds at Christie Pits and Bickford Park, there will be an increase in the registration fee for the upcoming season. However, the Committee is doing everything possible in its power to minimize the projected increase in order to continue its tradition of making the house league baseball experience affordable to all children and families who desire to play baseball within our community.
All interested Parents and Players are advised that the Committee will once again be offering an Early Bird Registration Fee Incentive for the upcoming house league season. Register before February 28, 2014 and save $10.00 per child on the 2014 registration fee.
Once again, we will be offering house league baseball programs in the following age categories during 2014:
- TEE BALL (2007-2010)
- ROOKIE BALL (2005-2006)
- MOSQUITO (2003-2004)
- PEEWEE (2001-2002)
- BANTAM (1999-2000)
- MIDGET (1996-1998)
With the overwhelming popularity of our respective house league baseball offerings, the Committee strongly urges all interested parents and players to register early to guarantee a placement in our program. Once all the available roster openings have been filled in a designated age category, any additional registrants will be put on a sequential waiting list in the event an opening becomes available.
Once the Committee has finalized the house league fees for the 2014 season, registration information and forms will be posted on our website and sent out via email to all parents and players who are on our mailing list.
