You Don’t Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows

HOWEVER, WITH THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE 2014 HOUSE LEAGUE BASEBALL REGULAR SEASON, TP BASEBALL WISHES TO REMIND PARENTS & PLAYERS THAT WE WILL PROVIDE STATUS UPDATES ON YOUR GAMES AND PRACTICES ON DAYS OF QUESTIONABLE WEATHER VIA OUR HOTLINE, TWITTER AND WEBSITE PLATFORMS

As we begin our 2014 House League season, the TP Baseball Committee would like to remind Parents, Players and Coaches of the procedure to follow if the weather is questionable and you’re not sure if your game or practice is on or cancelled.

The Hotline (416-392-1914, press prompt 4) will have updated information as to the status of the game or practice one hour prior to the start time.

You can also follow us on Twitter @TPbaseballnews via your mobile device. Additionally, you can also access our Twitter feed via your home or laptop computer by clicking on the Twitter bird symbol located at the bottom of each of our web pages.

And you can also check our website (www.tpbaseball.ca)  for weather updates pertaining to your scheduled game or practice.

Also, please bear with us over the course of a long season as we try to “read the signs”…there will be times when we cancel games and practices and it will clear up and be beautiful an hour or so later, and there will be times when we leave games and practices on and then it starts to rain a few minutes in,,,on the whole this is the best system with which to provide the most baseball to the most families in the most convenient way.

We look forward to a great 2014 season down at Christie Pits and Bickford Park. LET’S PLAY BALL!
