Scadding Court’s Gone Fishin’ Project


THE GENERAL PUBLIC CAN EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF FISHING AT THE SCADDING COURT COMMUNITY  CENTRE INDOOR POOL FROM JUNE 13 TO 21

June 8, 2014 Fishin'As part of an initiative to allow people to experience the joy of fishing, Toronto Parks and Recreation will be hosting Gone Fishin’ event at the Scadding Court Community Centre Indoor Pool from June 13 to 21.

The Gone Fishin’ Project event is open to all members of the general public. Here are more details about the event:

  • PLACE:  Scadding Court Community Centre Indoor Pool [707 Dundas Street West, Toronto]
  • DATE: Friday, June 13 to Saturday, June 21
  • TIME: Weekdays > 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday > 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • ENTRY FEE: $3.00 per person with a limit of one (1) fish. Each fish over the limit is $3.50. A $1.00 fee will be charged for each fish cleaned.

Participating School Groups attending the Gone Fishin’ event will have access to the pool on weekdays only from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Children under 12 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Organizers have the right to limit the number of fish per person. To ensure participation from the community, fishing time may be limited to 40 minutes per visit.
