Beneath a ceiling of overcast skies, the Bloordale Bombers shutout our Toronto Playgrounds Major Peewee Selects 10-0 in four innings of Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA) Select action this evening at Millwood Park.
Bloordale made the most of their opportunities in the first inning as they jumped out to an early 6-0 lead over TP. It was an advantage they would not surrender for the remainder of the proceedings.
Meanwhile, the Bombers pitching brigade stymied the potent Major Peewee offense to keep them off the scoresheet for the first time this season.
