TP UPDATE > Peewee Division Championship Game Start Time Moved To 10:30 A.M.

BASED UPON THE CURRENT CONDITIONS AND METEOROLOGICAL INFORMATION AVAILABLE, THE START TIME FOR THE PEEWEE DIVISION FINAL IS BEING DELAYED 30 MINUTES THIS MORNING

SONY DSCBased upon the current conditions and the weather radar information available, the TP Baseball Committee has announced that the start time for today’s (Saturday, September 13) 2014 Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Peewee Division Championship Game is being moved from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The forecast is calling for rain in the morning…we may not end up getting any, and if we do, the forecast is for light rain. At this point, we will play in light rain so as to not have this final playoff game just keep being postponed. If the rain is too heavy to play in the morning, the plan will be to move the start time, depending upon what the weather radar is showing.

As of 9:00 a.m., the Committee has delayed the start of the Peewee playoff final by thirty minutes to 10:30 a.m.

Parents and Players are strongly advised to check the hotline (416-392-1914 [Press 4]) or our Twitter feed (@TPbaseballnews) at 9:00 a.m. to get an update on the status of the game.

We’ll keep our fingers crossed that we can start the game at 10:00 a.m., but one way or another the Committee would like to see us play this game on Saturday. We know that some people have other activities they’d like to plan for the weekend so we don’t want to keep people from being able to plan other things for Sunday.
