The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee is continuing to accept registrations for the upcoming 2015 House League Baseball Season.

However, with only 28 days left before Opening Day, a number of our available age categories are beginning to fill up as we fast approach the beginning of the season.

As of April 16, all available roster openings have been filled in our respective ‘Monday’ and ‘Wednesday’ Rookie Ball Divisions (2006-2007). Any additional applications for this age division will be placed on a sequential waiting list in the event a roster opening becomes available.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of our respective house league baseball offerings, the Committee strongly urges all interested parents and players to register now in order to guarantee a placement in our program.

ALL roster spots in our six age groups will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Once all the available roster openings have been filled in a designated age category, any additional registrants will be put on a sequential waiting list in the event an opening becomes available.

DIVISION REGISTRATION

The divisions for our house league and the corresponding years of birth are set out above. If you’d like to register your child in a division other than the one listed for their year of birth, please contact us at tpbaseball@gmail.com to discuss it before completing the form.

Our popular Tee Ball program is moving to our new “two-diamond” home at Art Eggleton Park (see website for details). The TP Baseball Committee is offering both a Junior Tee Ball (2010-2011) and Senior Tee Ball (2008-2009) for the 2015 season. We feel that this will provide an even more enjoyable experience for our tee ball players, who will be participating with others at the same level of experience and skill. Tee ball will again be offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays this season.

There will also again be two divisions of Rookie Ball (2006-2007) – one playing Mondays and practising Wednesdays and the other playing Wednesdays and practising Mondays. Please rank Tee Ball days as 1, 2, 3 in order of preference and Rookie Ball days as 1 and 2 in order of preference when you fill out your registration form.

In both the Tee Ball and Rookie Ball divisions the spaces in the divisions will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. There are obviously only a certain number of spots available in each division.

If you have any questions, please contact us at tpbaseball@gmail.com.
