Beneath a layer of warm and windy skies, our Toronto Playgrounds Rookie Ball Selects defeated the Royal York Cardinals 12-5 in Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA) Select Loop action this evening at Lambton-Kingsway Park.
In a postgame media scrum, TP Rookie Ball Select Assistant Coach Jason Koskela expressed happiness with the team’s progress so far this season.
“It was a great win against a good team and we are excited heading into the West Hill Tournament this weekend.”
The TP Rookie Ball Selects (5-2) take a break from the EBA circuit as the team participates in the West Hill Rookie Ball Select Tournament this weekend (June 26-28) at Adams Park in Scarborough.
