TAKING FLIGHT, THE EAGLES SOAR OVER TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS IN OPENING ROUND ROBIN GAME AT THE MUSKOKA TOURNEY IN BRACEBRIDGE
Beneath the lights on a hot and humid midsummer’s night, the Everett Eagles defeated our Toronto Playgrounds Mosquito Selects 16-7 tonight at Peakes Field Diamond 3 in their opening round robin game at the 7th Annual Muskoka Cup Mosquito Select Tournament in Bracebridge.
The TP Mosquito Selects (0-1) have two remaining round robin games at the Muskoka tourney tomorrow (Saturday, July 25). In a late morning affair, Toronto Playgrounds will face the Waterloo Tigers at 11:15 a.m. Later that afternoon, TP will host the Erindale Selects in a 3:45 p.m. proceeding.
TP’s advancement to Sunday’s (July 26) playoff rounds is contingent upon how the team fares in the round robin portion of the tournament.
