WITH GRIT AND DETERMINATION, TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS CAGE THE TIGERS TO WIN FIRST ROUND ROBIN GAME AT MUSKOKA TOURNEY IN BRACEBRIDGE
Beneath a sheath of hazy and humid skies, our Toronto Playgrounds Mosquito Selects defeated the Waterloo Tigers 9-6 early this afternoon at Peakes Field Diamond 3 in their second round robin game at the 7th Annual Muskoka Cup Mosquito Select Tournament in Bracebridge.
With the victory, TP evened their round robin record at 1-1. The Mosquito Selects rebounded from a Friday evening defeat 16-7 to the Everett Eagles.
The TP Mosquito Selects have one remaining round robin game at the Muskoka tourney later this (July 25) afternoon TP will host the Erindale Selects in a 3:45 p.m. proceeding at Peakes Field.
TP’s advancement to Sunday’s (July 26) playoff rounds is contingent upon how the team fares in the round robin portion of the tournament.
