Beneath a sheath of warm and hazy skies, the Rays defeated the Mariners 7-5 in 3 ½ innings of Mosquito Division action this evening at Trinity-Bellwoods Park Diamond 2.

Here is a Mariners log of the proceedings:

  • It was a great game tonight at Trinity Bellwoods between the Mariners and Rays.
  • Down 7-1, the Mariners rallied with four runs in the top of the fourth to trim the deficit to two.
  • The M’s offensive rally was inspired by Vincent’s (15) first career RBI.
  • However, the pesky Mariners comeback fell just short as the Rays hung on for the 7-5 win.
