- Giants pitcher Alex (13) threw two great innings versus the gnarly Pirates batting order.
- Giants closer Javert (3) struck out three in the final inning for the save.
- Ben (14) had two walks, an RBI, and a run scored to spark the Giants offense.
- Stellar defense all around including two great back-to-back catches by Sam (15) in the second inning – one on a scorching line drive right at him and another where he ran toward centre field and made a diving catch.
