TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS HOUSE LEAGUE BASEBALL IS LOOKING FOR DONATIONS OF OLD WOODEN BROOMSTICKS TO USE IN ITS WIFFLE BALL TRAINING EXERCISES
The Toronto House League Baseball Committee is in dire need of old wooden broomsticks.
Our coaches use the wooden handles from broomsticks in our wiffle ball training program, which assists young players to develop better hand and eye coordination in hitting the baseball. We saw off the bristled broom and use the old wooden broom handle as a wiffle ball batting stick.
We kindly ask all parents and players to check their homes or apartments for any old wooden brooms that they no longer need.
All donations are greatly appreciated.
If you have an old wooden broomstick that you can donate to our baseball program, please contact us at tpbaseball@gmail.com.
