TP Mosquito & Peewee Division House League Baseball Pitching Clinics On Tap for June 1

INTERESTED PLAYERS IN OUR RESPECTIVE MOSQUITO (2008-2009) AND PEEWEE (2006-2007) DIVISIONS WHO YEARN TO LEARN THE FINE ART OF PITCHING ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THE SATURDAY CLINICS AT CHRISTIE PITS

Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball will be hosting a Pitching Clinic on Saturday, June 1 for all interested House League players in our respective Mosquito (2008-2009) and Peewee (2006-2007) age divisions.

The skill and knowledge of throwing a proper pitch during a game could mean the difference between strike or ball. Players will be given hands on instruction on the techniques in executing various pitches in a game situation. The basics of pitching consistently and successfully will be covered.

While everyone in these respective divisions are welcome to attend, these clinics are especially intended for players who don’t have a lot of (or any) experience with pitching to this point. We’d like to see lots of players in our houseleague pitching this season, so if you’re interested please come out.

We are also encouraging any of our coaches who can attend to come out and pick up on the things that you can continue to have your players do in your house league practices.

The pitching clinic sessions will take place at Christie Pits Diamond 2 (and if necessary, Diamond 3)

Here is the pitching clinic schedule for Saturday, June 1:

  • MOSQUITO DIVISION > 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • PEEWEE DIVISION > 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

The hour long clinics on Saturday will be supervised by Alex Beauvais, a former player and coach and current committee member with Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball, who was a successful pitcher in competitive baseball for many years, including at the high school and university level. Alex has been spearheading our annual pitching clinics for many years.
