TP Mosquito & Peewee Division House League Baseball Sliding Clinic On Deck for June 1

SATURDAY’S SLIDING CLINICS AT CHRISTIE PITS ARE OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PLAYERS IN OUR MOSQUITO (2008-2009) AND PEEWEE (2006-2007) DIVISIONS

Expos baserunner Daniel (11) slides safely into third base during a September 8, 2018 Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Peewee Division Round Robin Playoff Game versus the Cubs at Christie Pits Diamond 3.

Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball will be holding Sliding Clinics on Saturday, June 1 for all interested players registered in our respective Mosquito (2008-2009) and Peewee (2006-2007) age divisions.

Participating players will be taken through the stages of sliding properly, and then given opportunities to practice and become comfortable with the fine art of sliding.

Since players are required in our house league to slide at home plate whenever there is a play at the plate, we strongly encourage any players who feel hesitant about sliding to attend the clinic.

We are also encouraging any of our coaches who can attend to come out and pick up on the things that you can continue to have your players do in your house league practices.

The sliding clinic sessions will take place at Christie Pits Diamond 2 (and if necessary, Diamond 3) from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.
