A MESSAGE FROM THE TPBA COORDINATOR:
Hello Players and Parents:
We are sending this because many of you have registered since we last sent out a reminder. Toronto Playgrounds Baseball will be hosting a Toronto Blue Jays Instructional Clinic at Christie Pits on Saturday, June 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!! The clinic is open to players aged 8 to 12*, (*Any participants born in 2015 and are turning 8 in 2023 can sign up for the clinic.) We know that many of you have already registered. We encourage anyone who is interested who hasn’t yet registered to do so soon!
We have hosted many of these clinics over the years, and they are always a great time and a fantastic opportunity for players to further develop and enhance their skills by working with the trained Blue Jays Baseball Academy Instructors!! Academy Instructors are NCCP registered, experienced coaches, who have been trained in the ‘Blue Jays Way’ of teaching baseball to youth. And, the Christie Pits clinics are always enjoyable for the Blue Jays too partly because of how many excited and enthusiastic players we have coming out!
All registration and organization for the clinic is done by the Toronto Blue Jays, not Toronto Playgrounds Baseball. The link to the information and registration page for the clinic is copied below.
The cost of the clinic is $65.00 per participant, with $25.00 of that fee being donated by the Blue Jays to Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association (after the first 25 registrants)!! So, your player can have a great time, improve their baseball skills, and you can further support our league all at the same time!
And as well as working with the fantastic baseball instructors, participants also receive a Blue Jays hat, t-shirt and digital baseball skills manual…and each clinic registration will include one FREE kids ticket to a Blue Jays game!!
