TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS 15U ‘A’ REP PREVAIL OVER THE WHITE SOX AT OPTIMIST FIELD AT CENTENNIAL PARK TO BE THE TORONTO BASEBALL ASSOCIATION’S (TBA) REPRESENTATIVE AT THE 2024 BASEBALL ONTARIO (OBA) 15U ‘A’ REP PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY IN LONDON

Beneath a genteel layer of warm midsummer skies, the Toronto Playgrounds 15U ‘A’ defeated the Martingrove 15U ‘A’ White Sox 11-7 in a seven inning final tonight at Optimist Field at Centennial Park to win the 2024 Toronto Baseball Association (TBA) 15U ‘A’ Rep Tournament Championship Game.
TP 15U ‘A’ began their journey at the TBA 15U ‘A’ tourney on Friday night with a nip and tuck 5-2 win over the Royal York 15U ‘A’ Cardinals.
With no desire to dance around the mulberry bush, TP 15U ‘A’ laundered the Martingrove 15U ‘A’ White Sox 11-2 this morning to earn their second win at the TBA tourney.
With a perfect 2-0 record, TP 18U ‘A’ punched their ticket into the TBA 15U ‘A’ Rep Tournament championship game, with a showdown for all the marbles versus the White Sox.
The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association (TPBA) wishes to extend their congratulations to Head Coach Rob Ball; Assistant Coaches Ted Frankel, Mike Nesbitt and Matthew Scuby; Team Manager Michael Szego; and the players of the TP 15U ‘A’ Rep Team for their hard work and dedication in achieving championship glory at the 2024 TBA 15U ‘A’ Rep Tournament.
The TPBA also wishes to commend all the 15U ‘A’ Rep coaches, players, parents and family members for representing the core values of Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association program with honour, dignity and professionalism both on and off the diamond at the TBA tourney and during the course of the 2024 season.
