Beneath warm and humid skies, the Expos defeated the A’s 8-4 in three innings of Bantam Division action at Dominico Field at Christie Pits.

Here are the highlights:

  • Both the A’s and Expos played shorthanded as each team had only five a side.
  • The teams played five a side with Expos Head Coach Marco pitching and A’s Head Coach Paul catching for both sides in the first inning. That lead to a 4-4 score.
  • Then a real game got going after two more Expos showed up.
  • Noah powered the Expos offense with two hits and 3 RBI’s.
  • Expos pitcher Keegan (12) tossed a scoreless second inning to pick up the win.
  • Making his pitching debut, A’s reliever Michael (7) pitched the top of the third and held Expos scoreless. Michael was the star of the game as his effort on the mound produced two groundouts and a strikeout.
