DUE TO CONTINUED REGISTRATIONS, A NEW MIDGET TEAM WILL BE ADDED; REVISED ROSTERS AND SCHEDULES TO BE RELEASED THIS WEEKEND
2010 Midget Lizzies
Due to continued registrations, the TP Baseball Committee is happy to announce the addition of a fourth Midget Division team for the 2011 Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Season.
This is a great step up from the two team Midget Division of last year, and we’re very excited about the move.
In order to make four balanced teams instead of three, we’ve had to move some players from their original teams. But we hope that everyone will understand that this is in the interest of having an exciting and balanced division.
E-mails will be sent out tomorrow (Saturday, July 9) informing everyone as to what team they’re on. Please note that that the we have kept people together who asked to play together.
If it turns out that you’ll be changing teams, we’re going to have to ask you to bring your jersey back and get the correct one for your new team.
Tomorrow’s game (Sat., July 9) will go ahead as scheduled with the original teams (Lizzies and Monarchs), so please come out for the 1:00 p.m. game.
The new/revised 2011 Midget Division Schedule will start on Monday, July 11. The TP Baseball Committee will send out the new Midget Division Schedule to all players via email by tomorrow. The new/revised schedule will also be available in PDF on the TP Baseball Website. Please print it off and replace the original schedule.
Again, you’ll receive an e-mail tomorrow telling you which team you’ll be on.
The TP Baseball Committee wishes to thank all the players in our Midget Division for their enthusiastic participation this season and their patience and understanding as we expand to four teams for the remainder of the 2011 season. It’s really great to get back to a four team midget division.
