Beneath overcast skies at Woodford Park this evening, the Royal York Cardinals defeated the TP Rookie Ball Selects 9-4 in 7 exciting innings of EBA West Select Loop play.
A gritty Toronto Playgrounds squad played with determination and tenacity as they gave the Cardinals all they could handle in keeping the score tied 4-4 until the latter innings, when Royal York pulled away for the victory.
