On a warm and serene summer evening at Christie Pits Diamond 2, the Dodgers defeated the Mets 10-3 in a three inning Mosquito Division showdown.

Here are the highlights:

  • In a walkathon, there were only three hits in the game: two by the Mets and one by the Dodgers.
  • The game ended on a Dodgers’ triple play in the bottom of the third when first baseman Maximus caught a line drive. With Mets base runners on first and second running, Maximus doubled off the runner at first and threw to second to get the third out.
