THE DYNAMIC ROYALS TAKE CHARGE IN A VICTORY OVER THE GO GO LIZZIES AT CHRISTIE PITS

Beneath a layer of overcast and cloudy skies, the Royals defeated the Lizzies 10-5 in three innings of Peewee Division action this evening at Christie Pits Diamond 2. 

Here are some highlights:

  • The Lizzies scored four runs in first ( with no outs)
  • Flynn (7) hit a line drive into outfield for 3 RBI double in the top of the first.
  • In the second, Lizzies reliever Sebastien (4) struck out two Royals.
  • There were lots of great defensive plays turned by Royals, including a double play in the third.
