Under the lights on a humid and muggy midsummer’s night, the White Sox defeated the Rays 12-6 in three innings of Mosquito Division play tonight at Christie Pits Diamond 2.

Here is a Rays account of the proceedings:

  • The Rays lost 12- 5 to the White Sox in a great three inning game.
  • Tiger (4), PJ (2) and Nicholas (5) pitched well for the Rays.
  • Rays catcher Evan (9) caught two solid innings.
  • The Rays bats came alive with big hits coming from all over the lineup including PJ, Nicholas and Evan.
  • Margaret (11) was solid at third base and speedy on the basepaths.
  • Great game and hats off to White Sox, who were solid in the field and at the plate.
