- White Sox reliever Solly (14) kept the Lizzies off the scoresheet in the bottom of the second with three strikeouts.
- Lizzies reliever Sebastian (2) struck out two White Sox in the top of the third. However, the White Sox added four runs to their tally and stretch their lead to 8-0.
- After getting on base with a one out single to centre in the bottom of the third, Felix stole a pair of bases to reach third. The Lizzies were able to load the bases on a pair of walks to Shamus and Cameron. Thomas (13) followed with the Lizzies first RBI of the game on a one out walk that brought Felix home to roost.
- On a two strike count, Sebastian (2) delivered a clutch 2 RBI hit that scored Shamus and Cameron and trim the deficit to five.
- After Sebastian stole second, Kazou (10) provided the Lizzies with another two strike grace under pressure 2 RBI single to right field that plated both Thomas and Sebastian and slice the margin to 8-5.
- However, the White Sox were finally able to stop the Lizzies valiant rally attempt by getting a force out at second base and striking out Luca C. to end the game.
