It was a gorgeous summer evening on Thursday when the Lizzies and the Rays met at Christie Pits Diamond 3 for their final regular season game of the 2015 Mosquito Division season.

Although, the Rays did not have a full team, the players who were present were quite enthusiastic and psyched to play.

PJ (2) continued his hitting streak and showed why he has become a solid and consistent hitter this season.

Evan (9) pitched with finesse and speed and was a dominant force.

Lucas (8) continued to develop  his base-running skills.

Lucky (10) was a force behind the plate as catcher and thrilled the crowd with his slide into first, resulting in a “safe” call by the umpire.

Devin (6) continued his acrobatics that were present during the previous the game when, as pitcher, he slid to tag an opponent out trying to steal home.

The Rays came from behind in the final half inning with an amazing rally to get SEVEN runs to defeat the Lizzies 12-10.

The team and the fans went wild as the exciting rally continued!

Everyone is looking forward to next game as we enter the end of season ‘September Madness’ tournament.
