TP PEEWEE ‘A’ REP TEAM CAPS OFF A 14-3-1 REGULAR SEASON WITH A TORONTO BASEBALL ASSOCIATION PEEWEE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME VICTORY OVER BLOORDALE AT OURLAND PARK TO EARN A TRIP TO THE OBA PROVINCIAL PLAYOFF FINALS

Beneath a blanket of warm and humid skies, the Toronto Playgrounds Peewee ‘A’ Rep Team defeated the Bloordale Bombers 16-4 this morning at Ourland Park to win the 2018 Toronto Baseball Association (TBA) Peewee Championship Game.
After finishing the regular season with a stellar 14-3-1 record, the TP Peewee ‘A’ Reps began their journey at the TBA championship tourney with a 17-2 playoff victory over North York on Friday night at Ourland Park.
With the wind in their sails, TP defeated East York 19-4 on Saturday morning at Queensway Park to earn their second playoff victory.
Later yesterday afternoon at Queensway Park, the TP Peewee ‘A’ Rep Team topped Bloordale 11-3 to punch a ticket into the championship game.
The TP Baseball Committee wishes to congratulate TP Peewee A Rep Head Coach Marco Bianchi; Assistant Coaches Mark Higgins and Adin Wener for their fortitude and patience in steering these talented Peewee A Reps to championship glory at the TBA Peewee Championship playoff tournament.
The Committee also wishes to commend all the Peewee A Rep players, coaches and parents for representing the core values of the Toronto Playgrounds Baseball program with honour, dignity and professionalism on and off the diamond at the tournament and throughout the 2018 season.
As the TBA Peewee champions, the TP Peewee ‘A’ Rep Team will be the City of Toronto representative at the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) Provincial Finals during the Labour Day long weekend.
