  • With a five alarm blaze burning, TP reliever Momo was called in from the bullpen to shut things down, but not before the Athletics had built a seven run lead.
  • However, a pesky TP squad refused to fold their tents as they notched three runs in the bottom of the fourth to trim the shortfall to four. The TP rally was sparked by a series of bases loaded RBI walks by Sean (13), Cooper and Momo that brought Adam (20), Jiri (15) and Joel (12) home to crow.
  • TP kept the pressure on Annette by loading the bases. However, TP could not bring them home to roost as they left three ducks on the pond when the curtain came down on the inning. Nevertheless, with the margin trimmed to 8-4, TP had regained its mojo and momentum.
  • After TP reliever Momo retired the A’s batting order quietly in the top of the fifth.
