370 PARTICIPANTS HAD A SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS TIME AT THE FREE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL-TORONTO BLUE JAYS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH SKILLS AND DRILLS CLINIC HELD AT CHRISTIE PITS
Beneath a warm blanket of sunny and cloudy skies, the inaugural edition of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Play Ball Clinic at Christie Pits was a grand slam success.
In proud association with the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy, the Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association (TPBA) played host to a free MLB Play Ball skills and drills clinic today for youth participants aged 8 to 12 years old.
Registered participants rotated through a cornucopia of drills that covered skills including: infield, outfield, hitting, throwing, agility, and baserunning.
The clinics were taught exclusively by Blue Jays Baseball Academy Instructors. Academy Instructors are NCCP registered, experienced coaches, who have been trained in the ‘Blue Jays Way’ of teaching baseball to youth.
A sparkling 370 participants took part in the 2022 edition of the MLB Play Ball Clinic, which was split into two session (morning and afternoon) times.
In the end, a fin time was had by one and all!
